Its worth spending a bit more on hardware!

Very good . I Would recommend Gibraltar hardware and clamps . I'm a professional musician and I use electronic drums for live performances frequently. Had to build my own rack system for touring . So it needed to be tough enough to stand up to the rigors of life on the road . The main manufacturers of electronic drums don't make hardware for working or touring musicians at all , but aim there products at for home and studio use . You pay a fortune for cheap plastic clamps ,wich will do the job , but are very susceptible to snapping, usually during a travel .
For these reasons I recommend Gibraltar clamps and hardware for durability and strength!

So I have build some kind of the Gibraltar GSSMS Stealth Side Mount
with old rack pipes.
Therefore I bought this clamps.
They fit and its cheaper to use old stuff instead of buying everything new.
So its could be an option for you.
