Ligature

Other than the instrument itself, it is the ligature and the reed that have the greatest influence on the sound and response of the instrument. Each ligature is adapted to the particular type of mouthpiece and guarantees optimum fit of the reed. Due to the ingenious mechanism (left / right thread of the spindle), a symmetrical pulling force is applied to the reed during tensioning, so that this remains in the set position. A printed cross-hair on the belt facilitates the setting up of the reed.

Passt einigermaßen auf ein Berg Larsen Metall Bari Mundstück

Hab mir diese Ligatur gekauft, in der Hoffnung, dass sie einen guten Ersatz für meine leider kaputt gegangene Originalblattschraube abgibt. Bin leider nicht ganz zufrieden damit, das Blättchen hält zwar, allerdings muss man dafür die Schraube wirklich bis zum Anschlag anziehen. Ich hätte es besser gefunden, wenn sie ein bisschen kleiner wäre, sodass man sie eventuell noch enger schrauben könnte. Für die Kappe sind kleine Polster zum Festkleben inklusive, durch die sie gut am Mundstück hält, das Plastik an sich kommt mit dem Mundstück nicht in Kontakt, was ich sehr gut finde, da dadurch Kratzer am Mundstück auszuschließen sind. Das Blättchen wird gut geschützt.
