Doesn't fit in epiphone les paul models

Decided to write a cuationary review on this product. If you intended on installing this on an epiphone les paul beware of alot of modification. The build quality of the item is perfect and everything seems fine!

Leider keine 9V !! - ersetzt also leider keine 9V Batterie

Ich habe mir das 9V -Battery Pack SCBK als Ersatz für einen mit Batterie betriebenen Piezoabnehmer (Gibson CEC Chet Atkins - 1980er Jahre) bestellt. Das Fishman Pack passt zwar größenmäßig halbwegs für diese Gitarre, kann auch geladen werden liefert jedoch leider nur 4,3 Volt. Es geht daher erstmal retour - ich muss mit dem Thomann Vertrieb abklären ob das Pack defekt ist, oder die Werbung dazu "flunkert". 9V sollten ja immer 9V sein? Andererseits gibt es Bewertungen für das Fishman Universal Battery Pack (ohne Abdeckplatte) , das angeblich problemlos 9V liefert, aber keinen technischen Unterschied erkennen lässt.

Nachtrag vom 29.1.21 / via Kundencenter (Danke für die schnelle Antwort): wie Fishman soeben bestätigt hat liefert das Pack nur 4,3 Volt. Auf die Frage warum auf der Fishman Homepage von "..ähnlich einer 9V Batterie..." steht gibt es keine Antwort. Schade

Passt nicht für Epiphone, trotzdem gut

Musste für den Einbau an meiner Epiphone LP etwas nachfräsen, wenn euch das egal ist, bekommt ihr eine super einfache Lösung, eure PUs zu bepowern! Wenn das Holz unangetastet bleiben soll, dann nehmt lieber die Variante, die man selbst in die originale Abdeckplatte einbauen muss!
