Ho preso questo battipenna marcato Fender perché avevo paura che non combaciassero i fori, sinceramente ho avuto dei problemi con le tre viti sotto alla manopola del volume ma le altre le ho reinserite senza problema.
Ottima fattura del prodotto anche se potevano fornire anche delle viti di ricambio insieme al battipenna.

Pricey but worth it

I bought it for my Fender Player P bass, it's a perfect fit and looks beautiful. It come with a little more earthing foil than the original Player pickguard. The only cons I see:
- There's a hole at the base of the neck for P basses having the truss rod adjustment there. The Fender Player basses have the truss rod adjustment at the nut. Pickguard would fit either way but this pickguard has this extra hole and some might not like it.
- Price: it's really expensive in comparison to other brands... I don't regret buying it because it looks really nice and fits perfectly, but I believe it's really overpriced.

good but seems to pick up static

looks good , but seems prone to static build up causing hi freq crackle on the bass .
bass is shielded and well treated - so this is a problem .

probably not a good choice for detailed and quiet work in recording or loud low touch stuff with these static crackling

I renovated an old p Bass recently and was looking to replace it with a new scratch plate. So," replace like for like" is my motto, and there's nothing with more quality build than Fender. Very pleased.
