Working in live-sound I come across a lot of Digico mixers, they are great but lack a good sounding reverb in my opinion. Connectivity on a Digico desk is plentiful, I own a RME madiface wich connects flawlessly to the Digico desks. Running a Macbook pro M4 with reaper for outside processing the choice is overwhelming. Looking at all that choice I came across the Ultraverb, the inboard processing like EQ, Compression and Lo cut in one screen of the gui made it a simple choice. No more switching screens just everything in one userinterface. The reverbs sound on par, like you would expect from Eventide. Storing and recalling presets is a little thing to get your head around, but overall a good sounding reverb with a good ui.

Ich hab gefühlt 100te Hall Plugins, auch recht kostspielige von großen Marken, konnte mich aber nie so wirklich mit auch nur einem davon anfreunden. Oftmals waren Sie mir zu künstlich und zu ungenau um an mein Ziel zu kommen. Ich war recht gefrustet, da ich gerne ITB arbeite und trotz meiner Liebe zu Analogequipment die Recallbarkeit und das flexible Arbeiten auch bei Reverbs und dem Hall nutzen möchte. So ähnlich habe ich einem Bekannten meine Leiden geschildert, welcher mich dann auf das Eventide Ultra Reverb aufmerksam machte. Ich war sehr skeptisch - aufgrund meiner bisherigen Erfahrungen. Nach einiger Zeit in meiner Wunschliste habe ich es mir dann doch bestellt & bereue es keine Sekunde. Toller Klang, schnell am Ziel und so flexibel einsetzbar. Da hat Eventide in meinen Augen etwas geschafft, was alle anderen bisher noch nicht geschafft haben. Preis absolut gerechtfertig und mittlerweile in meiner Top10 Plugin Liste für jeden Fall.

Das Reverb lässt sich durch seine flexible Einstelmöglichkeiten mühelos in jedem Song einsetzen.
Ich benutze es aber hauptsächlich bei Jazz Aufnahmen, hier macht es für mich die beste Arbeit.
Das PlugIn ist auch nicht besonders CPU hungrig.
Aber wie gesagt es lässt sich überall gut einsetzen und ist auf jeden Fall sein Geld Wert.

excellente reverbe à tout faire.
les options sont très lisible et facile à utiliser, vous pouvez facilement changer de type de reverb et la customiser. qualité audio digne de la réputation d'eventide.
