I usually use remo heads but i'm clad i gave this a try because i really love it.
The clarity and response on this head is great.
I really like the result i got with this head and really recommend this head for everyone.

The best kick reso I've ever used!

I have changed all of my kick drums over to this resonant head from Evans. I am predominantly a Remo user, but I have to say I would recommend the Evans emad to any professional drummer. I don't think there is a better kick resonant/front head available by any of the other manufacturers. The tonal clarity and response is excellent, and the head itself is robust and tough enough to withstand life on the road. I particularly like the protective/reinforcement ring around the microphone sound hole. There's no rattle or buzz, just a pure response. I use it with a Remo coated powerstoke 4 on the batter side and it makes a seriously effective partnership! Great drum head!

Don't really notice the sound difference. But I recently played my first live show with my band and the hole for the mic made it easy for the sound guy. So I'd say it's good!

so muss eine Bassdrum klingen! Vor einiger Zeit habe ich als Ersatz für mein Bassdrum Fell eine alternative zum Powerstroke 3 gesucht und ein Fell gefunden, dass ich nie wieder missen möchte! Ich war eigentlich lange treuer Fan eines anderen Herstellers, habe jedoch nach dieser goldrichtigen Entscheidung bei jeder Fellfrage zu Evans gegriffen und war immer sehr zufrieden.

Grade die Verarbeitung überzeugt sehr, es kam mir seit dem Herstellerwechsel noch nie ein "Montagsprodukt" unter, das nach einigem spielen auseinander fiel. Ebenso bin ich von der Stimmbarkeit total hingerissen, keine Kleberand eindrücken, kein Fönen und fast kein Nachstimmen sind mehr nötig um einen klasse klang zu erreichen! Ebenso der tiefe Bassdrum Sound den ich in Verbindung mit dem Doppellagigen E-MAD Schlagfell mit Randring erreicht habe macht mir jedes mal beim Schlagzeugspielen Freude und bestätigt meine Entscheidung!
So muss ein Fell klingen!
