Comprata per la mia Drumcraft nera serie 8, adoro questa serie Evans "Black Chrome" in quanto ha un suono fantastico, pulito, potente e la pelle è resistente.

These heads are maybe the best tom heads i ever played.
Sound is very controlled but full and they withstand any kind of beating.
6 months later they still perform and tune great.
One of the heads even had a large crate dropped on and it bend it a little but it didn`t break it and still it sounds the same.

I bought this at the same time as I bought a Sonor 12" tom to add to my Soor Jungle kit and to replace the head suppied in the drum .. to match all the others on the kit. I love this Evans Black Chrome series. I like the thicker deaper tone they produce and as I said in the headline they look cool.

Warum?
Gut:
Das Fell ist leicht aufzuziehen und zu stimmen, ist aber nichts für die wirklich hohen Stimmungen. Dafür kann es tief. Es klingt sehr gut und ist aus meiner Sicht geeignet für Rock, Metal, eher härtere Stile. Wer den Jazz Sound der BeBop Ära will soll bitte einschichtige Felle nehmen, hier gibt es den eher kurzen knackigen, ganz leicht paukigen Ton (in Verbindung mit dem Reso von Evans). Die Haltbarkeit ist sagenhaft. Die Farbe kann nicht abgehen, weil eine klare Folie über der schwarzen ist.
Schlecht:
Leider verliert sich der Glanz sehr schnell, weil die farblose Folie von den Drumschlägen schnell blind wird.
Günstiger dürfte es auch gerne sein.
