Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky 3-pack 3627

I've been using this strings since 2015 and I really like them. I'm not one of those who try thousands of different string brands, so I have no comparison with similarly sized strings made by other manufactors, but I'll share my experience.

I use them on a Gibson Firebird tuned to drop C# (C# G# C# F# A# D#) and on an Ampeg Dan Armstrong See-Through guitar with standard tuning.
The first one has a slightly shorter scale and I needed more tension on the lower strings to avoid excessive flubbyness, and these solved my problems. For solos higher strings might be a bit too hard to bend, so keep that in mind. You may consider something like the Skinny Top Beefy Bottom set if that might be a problem for you.

The second guitar is strictly for rhythm and very aggressive playing, so I needed something that minimized low strings "djent" during performances, and once again these strings delivered.
