SECOND Emeo!
I bought a second Emeo because I want to be able to practice at unconventional hours both at home and in Office.
My other one is a 2025 gold finish model and came in a semi-hard case, this one is a 2026 in a beautiful black nickel finish, and came in a very nice hard shell case with a soft bag screwed on the bottom, which unluckily makes it awkward to sit on a plain surface when open, so I had to unscrew it.
The Emeo is without any doubt - and by far - the best practice digital saxophone on the market and leaves little space for improvement, like a couple built in sounds and an earphone plug input so it can be used without an external device.
I had to take the first Emeo to my technician, a very expert guy who takes care of my Mark Vis since late 80s, because the action was too stiff, and this new one was no less, and eve worse because the pin of the high B was slightly bent, makong the key very stiff and prone to stuck in closed position.
I am blaming the QC as the packaging could survive an elephant charge and it took me a good 20 minutes to unpack and exhume the instrument, so it definitely did not happen during freight.
So this is the reason for the 4 stars overall and 3 stars on quality.
Now, after a bit of technician work and of course extra money, everything is working and I hope I will enjoy this new Emeo like the other.
