DrumCraft Concert Fl Tom 20"x16" W/M DB

I bought this drum mainly because of the relatively low price. If you are looking for a similar drum by a renowned brand you will have to pay at least 2-3 times more.

The build quality is decent, basically spot on what to expect considering the price. The bearing edges are a bit rough here and there but nothing major. The hardware is ok but does for sure not feel very solid, especially the hoop claws, and the drum can rather easily loose tune especially when tuned low (which I guess most people want). I like the narrow hoop size, they do not get in the way when you play.
Overall I would say the shell quality is excellent (for the price) and the hardware is ok, would have hoped for something just a bit more solid and sturdy (I wouldn't have mind paying a bit more for it either). The finish is very nice in all its' simplicity.

Sound wise I'm very pleased with the drum! It can produce a big boom sound and also cause some nice deep vibrations in the room, but it also is focused and dynamic enough to allow dynamic playing - not just single big hard hits.
I want quite a lot of tone and attack out of my drum so I put an Evans EQ4 as batter and Emad as reso. The stock heads (some Remo made in China) were better than I expected though so if you have no strong idea about what heads you'd like then you can for sure use the stock heads to start off with.

All in all, for the money this drum is excellent and considering how much cheaper it is compared to options from renowned brands I cannot do anything else than highly recommend it! Only if this kind of drum is an integral key part in your playing I would say it's worth looking at the more expensive options.
