This lovely little cable allows you to bridge the gap between the korg / yamaha / moog gate world and the eurorack (more common) gate world.
for some mysterious reasons, korg, moog and yamaha decided to go their own way. so this little cable contains a few components inside the the 6.35mm jack plug that converts v-trigger signal. into s-Trig signal.
With this cable this incompatibility becomes a problem of the past and you can enjoy triggering your korg ms-20, moog phatty from your eurorack modular system.
there are more complete modules out there that to that on both way (from and to ms-20) and also do the cv conversion : that come at price !
in short, it does the job well, and is much cheaper than the module mentioned above (for less functionalities, that is true). that being said, looking at what is inside the cable, 25euros is quite expensive, but i suppose that is the price to pay for such a nice product.

Convertisseur V-Trigger - S-Trigger

Un câble convertisseur V-Trig (Roland, etc..) vers S-Trig (Korg) indispensable pour faire communiquer d'anciennes machines entre elles en langage analogique. Pas forcément donné au vu de la simplicité du procédé, mais tout à fait efficace. On voit que c'est fait main, mais très proprement chez Doepfer ;)
A regretter à notre époque du tout mini-jack, le choix d'un jack 6.35 en sortie, nécessitant un autre adaptateur, mais ce n'est que mon avis. En tout cas indispensable pour les utilisateurs du MS20.

habe das Teil in mein Trigger INPUT meiner vermona retroverb geroutet und es funktioniert einwandfrei. das teil ist nicht günstig, aber viele alternativen habe ich nicht gefunden. daher danke, dass es es gibt.

c'est cher pour un câble mais ça fais le boulot.
je m'en sert pour trigg un Moog Rogue avec un Doepfer darktime c'est pour moi la meilleur option sans bricolage douteux.
