Sound keeps growing on me…

I expected this 2BFD to be my favorite of the two mouthpieces chose to try. I got this and a JK 4D for my Thomann TRF-23 rotary Flugelhorn. While both are fantastic in cleaning up the feel and intonation from the piece it came with, the 2BFD has been growing on me for the sound… now depending on what I am playing the JK is not a loss as they are similar enough but much brighter. However did I mention that warm full sound that the Denis Wick makes? Wow!

Deep warmth of tone

Beautifully suits my Ceverny rotary flugel to produce great warmth of tone in the middle range, but copes with extremes of high and low notes. Personally prefer its sound to the Denis Wicks 4BFD which has sharper edge to the sound.
