un essere fatato chiamato corriere, anticipando di due giorni i tempi previsti mi consegna la chitarra che tanto aspettavo, la scarto pensando immediatamente che sicuramente per giorni non avrei avuto modo di poterne fare una troppa profonda conoscenza per via di settaggi vari dal liutaio, scarto l'armatura che la contiene e ai miei occhi si rivela come una galassia in piena vita, colori stupendi, forme seducenti sensazioni clamorosamente positive, la guardo in ogni millimetro toccandola come innamorato, la impugno e faccio i primi accordi, brividi! proprio il suono caldo che aspettavo fuoriuscisse inizio a suonare e non smetto più, perdutamente sedotto, la cosa più entusiasmante è stata sentire intima confidenza dal primo accordo con la chitarra . tonalità calde e bassi avvolgenti ha una coralità di suono stupenda, anche la casa è più calda quando la suono. Grazie di tutto Mr D'angelico!

absolutely stunning guitar!

I got it as a first steel string acoustic guitar and i gotta say: nice. The looks of the guitar are amazing, love the cherry red burst, abalone ring around the hole of the body, inlays and to top it off: the absolutely amazing headstock, classic for D'Angelico even if this is my first of them. Sounds really full (especially with full chords but soloing on this guitar is also an absolute blast) and just everything I wanted for an acoustic. The 12 gauge steel strings are a lot harder to play for me as I mostly play 9 gauge elctric strings and nylon strings, but that is what I signed up for. The only thing that's not 100% perfect (but around 99% so it's no big deal) are the beautiful tuners. They're stunning as said, but the tuners of the lighter strings are somewhat harder to grasp as the headstock is kinda wide. But further only good words to this beauty. So happy I bought it.

Good guitar

Guitar looks amazingly! It really looks like a 2000$ instrument, it feels good in your hands. But in compare to my previous Taylor 110e it's still lost in the sound. Not bad, but still not that sound I am looking for. Just my subjective opinion. Also neck profile is a bit chunky, after Taylor it's a bit hard to play. Need a time to adopt. But anyway for this price superb!!

Fazit:
In dem Preisbereich unschlagbar und absolut empfehlbar!
Und dieser Look!!! Zum dahinschmelzen;-)
