Cort G 300 RAW Natural Satin

I bought it a few weeks ago due to a few features that caught my eye. First, I needed a guitar that allows me to play comfortably without risking any strain or injury. Despite having 24 frets, it doesn't feel oversized at all, which helps a lot if you don't have large hands. Second, the Seymour Duncan pickups: the 5-way switch offers an incredible tonal palette to play with. They are highly responsive and versatile enough for any genre, from jazz to metal. The sound is so distinct and dynamic compared to my other guitar with active pickups that I actually had to tweak my pedalboard settings—it completely opened up a whole new universe for me.
Naturally, when it arrives, you'll need to do a quick setup and adjust the action to your preference. Aside from its ergonomic size, I was surprised by how lightweight and perfectly balanced it is. The finish is beautiful, though that’s personal taste. I absolutely love the locking tuners; they save you from the mess of having excess strings hanging off the headstock like wild palm trees. The bridge responds beautifully, holding pitch excellently during pitch bends and dive bombs without tuning issues, so you can play without fear. Finally, the stainless steel frets make bendings incredibly expressive because they feel so smooth and slick.
For this price, you are getting a hidden gem among so many overrated brands. I’d say it easily stands ground against a €1200 Charvel. Blessings to everyone, if you decide to buy it, you definitely won't regret it!

This is a phenomenally good guitar for this price. It looks great, it plays great, it sounds great. It was pretty much ready to play out of the box, although I did find the 'two spring' trem a bit too sensitive for my liking, so I added the third spring that came with it, and adjusted the set up accordingly. Now, it's as good as any guitar I've ever owned (some nearly three times the price of this). I was interested to hear how the coil split positions sounded, and while it won't win in a blind test against a strat or a tele, they still sound reasonably close in comparison. There IS a volume loss, when you switch to the coil split positions, but stomping your preferred boost method, when you switch positions, will sort this. This guitar will sound good playing almost any style, although I probably wouldn't recommend it for modern metal tones, but if that's your thing, you're probably not even reading this, as there are hundreds of guitars specifically for that type of style.

This is just a damn good guitar!!!

Kommen wir zu Beginn zu den NEGATIVEN Dingen an der G 300 RAW:
- Die Bundstäbe sind an der ein oder anderen Stelle minimal nachzuschleifen. Aber ganz ehrlich, das ist schon Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Natürlich mag es zum Sliden mehr stören, aber in der Preisklasse habe ich schon deutlich größere "Katastrophen" in der Hand gehabt.

Und damit kommen wir schon zum POSITIVEN: Der Rest! Die G 300 RAW ist ein echt schickes Teil!
+ (subjektiv, aber) ein äußerst schickes Design. Die Hölzer fühlen sich gut an und gehen ordentlich verarbeitet ineinander über. Das Gefühl einer Akustikgitarre wird hier gut mitgenommen und in die E-Welt übertragen.
+ Die Verarbeitung ist echt top. Mit Ausnahme des eventuellen Nachschleifens, fallen mir keine Mängel auf. Alles ist solide gebaut, nichts "klappert".
+ Die Mechaniken am Kopf verstecken die sonst zu sehenden Saitenwickelungen. Macht optisch was her, sorgt dazu noch als Schutz, um mal aus versehen an den Mechaniken zu drehen
+ Die Soundqualität ist sowohl über das Audio Interface (in die DAW), als auch über die Loop Station ordentlich. Kein Rauschen oder Knacken ist zu hören. Die E hat auch einiges an Power unter der Haube- vom Anschlag war ich sehr weit entfernt bisher. (Wie es sich über einen Verstärker verhält kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich selbst nicht damit spiele)
+ durch Hohlkörper ist die G 300 RAW etwas leichter als andere E-Gitarren. Insgesamt empfinde ich die Cort als leicht, trotzdem spürt man auch beim Gewicht, dass man ein solides Gerät in den Händen hält.

FAZIT:
Das Spielgefühl ist für mich top und optisch gibts recht wenig, dass der G 300 RAW nahe kommt. Die Qualität überzeugt. Für den Preis erhält man mit dieser E-Gitarre ein Exemplar, dass so einigen teureren E's die Show stiehlt hinsichtlich der Qualität.
Alles in allem ein perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass mit der G 300 RAW sowohl Anfänger als auch Fortgeschrittene glücklich werden können.
