Cort A6 Plus FMMH

Cercavo un 6 corde non per utilità ma per divertirmi, questo è forse l'unico ad un buon prezzo con buoni materiali, ottimi pkup(Bartolini MK-1 sono una garanzia), un elettronica semplice ed efficace ma soprattutto uno dei pochi 34 pollici rimasti, gli altri sono tutti multiscala o 35 pollici, decisamente faticosi x me. Uniche pecche sono una tastatura non perfetta e manico ed ottave da regolare (ma si risolve velocemente e con poca spesa se si conosce un buon liutaio) e il fatto di dover comprare per forza una custodia abbastanza robusta ed imbottita per preservarlo bene

From the recent Cort basses I've tried, I would say that they are making a mockery of the rest of the industry. The build quality, components and sound are second to, pretty much none, and you're paying the price of a student instrument.
With that in mind I had no reservation ordering this instrument online. It's my first 6-string, so a bit of a project, and no guarantee that I'll stay with it, so this is a really amazing choice.
Initial impressions (once I set it up - it arrived direct from the factory by all appearances): Awesome sound! Particularly on the A and D strings. B is a touch dull, as you might expect from a 34" scale, but I'm using the strings that came on it (the nickel-wound EXL170-6 I believe) so no idea if they are all good, and they are strung to the bridge only, so I expect this will sound even better once it's strung through the body. Possibly with a slightly heavier B. I have the same Bartolinis on a few instruments, so I can directly compare what is mostly down to the instrument itself, and the tone and sustain are really awesome.
Slight issues: Can't get enough length on the B string to get it perfectly in tune over 24 frets, but as I say, I haven't re-strung it yet, and there might be some tweaks possible on the bridge.
Also the knobs and active/passive switch let the rest of the instrument down a little by looking a bit cheap. But in fact they are probably the only things that reveal it's actual price-point.
I'll update if I discover anything that changes my opinion, as I've had it only a few days (actually I ordered it less than a week ago! - it arrived within 3 days to Singapore!), but at the moment I completely unreservedly recommend it - and the service from Thomann/UPS.

Der erste Bass ging zurück, weil sich während des Liefertransports an den Verschraubungen für die Saiten oben Kopf etwas gelöst hat - die D-Saite schnurrte beim Spielen (mit Amp oder auch im Trockenen) wie eine Katze -> Rücksendung 1

Beim zweiten Bass hatte die Elektronik eine Macke - da ging gar nichts, trotz dass ich das Instrument mit mehreren Amps und Preamps getestet hatte -> Rücksendung 2

An dieser Stelle erst einmal ein riesen Lob an das Thomann-Team, für die schnelle Zu- und Rücksendung sowie Umtausch der Instrumente! Der Service und die Hilfsbereitschaft sind großartig.

Ich bin nun jedoch skeptisch, was dieses Instrument betrifft - und werde es wahrscheinliche nicht noch einmal bestellen, so cool ich diesen Bass (Optik, Spielgefühl, Handhabung, Gefühl)

Positive Dinge, die mir aufgefallen sind:
Optik: ausgezeichnet
Saitenlage/Bespielbarkeit im Trockenen: ausgezeichnet
Gewicht: für einen 6-Saiter-leicht!?
Features: ich nutze bei meinen Bässen fast nur den Passive-Mode stattdessen , deswegen kann ich über den Preamp nicht viel sagen, da ich ihn kaum benutzt habe. Für die, welche darauf stehen, sicherlich coole Spundmöglichkeiten.
