Cordoba Fusion 14 Maple

Premesso che non sono un professionista, cercavo una chitarra che fosse versatile e abbastanza maneggevole. L’ho appena ricevuta e la sto suonando con grande soddisfazione; devo dire che ha subito risposto alle mie aspettative, ho leggermente regolato il truss rod per avere un’action a me più congeniale, spero che in futuro possa sorprendermi ancora di più , mi piace molto la larghezza del manico (dimensione al capotasto di 48 mm) e la leggera curvatura dello stesso che l’avvicina a quelle che sono le caratteristiche di una chitarra elettrica, inoltre le corde in nylon conferiscono una morbidezza al suono proprio di una chitarra classica; la consiglio soprattutto a chi come me intende studiare con con un certo impegno e consapevolezza

Great look, awesome feel, very comfortable to play. This guitar has fantastic features with a well shaped cutaway (14 fret clear of the body), a 48mm nut and a built in fishman pick up and tuner system. The tone of the guitar is excellent but I believe that the Cordoba Fusion 12 does offer a slightly better acoustic/unplugged tone. I wanted a guitar that offered playability in the high fret range so this instrument ticked all the boxes for me.

Obviously best played finger style and gives lovely warm crisp tones in the highs and mids and deep resonating bass notes. Works very well as a folk or classical guitar and can also pass off flamenco style pretty nicely but it is not so hot when strummed with a pick. However, I doubt you will be looking at this guitar if that is how you like to play.

The guitar arrived ready to play and barely even needed tuning although, I wanted to test the tuner. Comes with an excellent quality Cordoba gig bag. This guitar offers a lot for a very good price. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone who wants to get a versatile finger played instrument.
