Boss SL-2 Slicer

The pedal chops the sound into slices and processes them with internal filters and effects, a kind of tremolo with effects applied on the slices.

I used it on my psychedelic rock project to create percussive sound patterns but also in combination with a drum machines, matching the tempo via midi connection.

I can't describe how much fun I am having with this pedal, I spent literally entire afternoons jamming by myself.

I think I will pair an expression pedal to have more control during live gigs.

I am now trying to work on the parameter editor so I may come back and update the comment later on. After a first look, it seems a bit tricky, that's the only downside of the pedal so far.
