Nice little item to avoid pain in left hand index finger

This little piece of plastic makes a great difference ! Playing becomes way more confortable as it eases the tension of the left hand index finger. Excellent combo with the Bo-Pep thumb support device.

Tip : use a (tiny) bit of poster-buddy gum to avoid it to slide on the tube while playing.

This product is well thought, durable and does its job. I find it very expensive for a little piece of plastic, though.

Was surprised that such a little thing could much such a big different. Really makes playing for long stretches at a time much more comfortable.

Improved playing position

Works quite well & makes for a much more comfortable finger position, so definitely helped with my playing. Only downside to this product is that it does scratch the flute a little when pushing/moving into place, otherwise all good.

Gute Idee, aber noch nicht ganz ausgefeilt

Mit dem Sattel spielt es sich auf jeden Fall angenehmer, als ohne. Allerdings habe ich auch den Sattel für große Hände gekauft, mit dem ich viel besser zurecht komme, obwohl ich wirklich kleine Hände habe (kann keine Tenorblockflöte ohne Klappen spielen und greife geradeso eine Oktave am Klavier). Schade ist, dass man ihn immer abnehmen muss, da er nicht mit Flöte in den Koffer passt, bis jetzt sind keine Kratzer auf der Flöte zu sehen, aber es ist ein wenig nervig. Es wäre gut, wenn es wenigstens ein bisschen gepolstert wäre und wenn er ein bisschen günstiger wäre, weil es wirklich "nur ein Kunststoffteil" ist (nicht abwertend gemeint, aber es ist wirklich nur Plastik, kein Silikon oder ähnliches). Schade, dass es so etwas nicht für Altquerflöten gibt.
