Works fine for 5mm threads...

... just be aware vintage Beyerdynamic gear had 8mm threads, so make sure you order the right one! Change happened round 2019. For the newer products with 5mm thread this adapter will do perfectly fine, quality is good!
And a message to Beyerdynamic: I much preferred the older 8mm thread, which is studio standard somehow (used by Sony, Sennheiser, Audio Technica...)! Hence just 3 stars for handling...

The adapter was "mono"

I guess these things can happen, I lost my adapter and was looking for a replacement, when I inserted it into my 880PRO there was no way to pan it, it was always audible on both sides, so I returned it.

Works perfect with DT770Pro !
My previous adapter that was included with headphones, started to have weird error - whenever it was screwed till the end, I heard only mono signal - so to get the stereo, adapter needed to be 'loose', not screw till the end. I've ordered this M5 and works perfectly, when screwed tightly. Totally recommend. Just make sure it fits into your cans, as Beyer changed some stuff during years with connector dimension (jack plug)!

Doesn't fit the DT 770 Pro!

I recently purchased the Beyerdynamic Headphone Adapter Screw M5, hoping it would be a perfect fit for my DT 770 Pro headphones. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit these headphones, which was a major disappointment. The product itself seems to be well-made, with solid construction and quality threading, but the lack of compatibility with one of Beyerdynamic's most popular models feels like a significant oversight.

If you’re considering this for DT 770 Pros, save yourself the frustration—it’s not compatible. However, if you're using a different Beyerdynamic model, it might work, but double-check before buying. I wish the compatibility details were more clearly highlighted in the product description. Overall, a solid part, but not useful for my needs.
