Great tool
I never save money on mutes, because they are related to air resistance and I already had an entire season ruined by a pneumothorax. Plus, intonation can ruin a studio session. So I try to purchase the "best" mutes out there.
This one has stunning intonation, response and evenness throughout all registers. No cork issues. Sounds more in tune and focused than the open sound! The aluminum version is the lightest and has a typical aluminum sound, stingy, with midrange honk. I also bought the copper version, that weighs more but really shines in the studio. Who knows how the brass one would sound..
