Audio-Technica AT 875 R

Non sono un tecnico esperto, prendete le mie parole come amatore. Non ho mai provato microfoni di alta gamma.
Detto questo, il l'audio-tech in questione si comporta molto bene. Ho potuto registrare un podcast e un saggio di bambini con riprese sia al chiuso che all'aperto. All'aperto con budget superiori c'e sicuramente di meglio per la gestione del vento, ma per il resto si è comportato bene e comunque ci siamo portati il risultato a casa ed è più che gradevole.

Per registrazioni al chiuso parlate, va benissimo. Personalmente se uno investe nella formazione della propria voce, questo mic può risultare prestante come molti di fascia ben più alta.

È bene prestare attenzione alla saturazione, regolando un volume con non lo porti mai a saturazione, il suono poi rimane pulito e bello. Se lo fate saturare, come è ovvio che sia, non c'è modo di sistemare il suono in post-produzione.

Mi spiace non mai bene come mettere le stelline. Non ne do 5, perché ci sono microfoni superiori, ma per questo prezzo è difficile. Per cui nel rapporto qualità prezzo gli darei 5 stelle. In assoluto forse 3 o 4, immagino i fucili sennheiser, ma non li ho mai provati e poi costano 10 volte di più...

P.s. Io lo uso con una Behringer UMC404HD, registrando con Reaper su sistema Linux. Budget ridottissimo, risultato altissimo :))

Used for run and gun interviews

The good:
light, sturdy, low profile, very good sound

The bad
phantom power only- make sure you carry spares for your recorder
Sound rejection is not as good as it's bigger siblings, that being said it is what it is, a vast improvement over in-built mikes and can be hand-held with care for great talking head interviews. I recommend a pistol grip for hand holding though, and buy a dead-cat for wind protection
