Arturia MiniFreak

I started my experience with sythetizers with a Korg Minilogue (which I still have), then I got curious about this Freak. I am definitely not an advance syth user.
From my perspective, the MiniFreak comes with an incredibly neat manual, excelent presets and an easy to use interface. It has stunning flexibility and clever features that makes it excelent for live performances. The matrix is just brilliant and you also get a modern plug in app, which is great to work with your DAW, so you are able to create your sounds in studio and then bring them directly to the live performance.

Compared to the Korg, I would say that the Arturia has a less "traditional" approach to sound synthesis, a slightly lower built quality (especially the keys). It has definitely more features and it's far ahead when it comes to preset management and PC interface. As for the sounds, it is personal, but I feel that the Korg is superior (even though my feeling is that you can do much more with the Arturia).

I am afraid I will keep both! :)
