just achieved my aquarian from Thomann

I replaced all the heads on my Yamaha DP drums with professional heads (all at Thomann) .The only one that was missing , was my bass drum head . After a long search , I decided to order the Aquarian super kick II . Unbelievable : I just had a new bass drum with the sound and kick I was looking for . Really guys : if you want that fat "dounk" and a pleasure to play on , please order this one . I am already in "love" with this head .

I like it better than my actual drum kit!

By far my best buy with regards to drums.

What can I say? You?d have to hear it to believe it but one of the nicest sounding kick heads I?ve ever heard. It sounds punchy and aggressive when hit hard but smooth and sweet when hit soft.

Y problems with resonance reduced considerably when I got this drumhead. The ?Floated Muffling System? helps keep it tame but without killing any frequencies.

It?s hard to find anything disappointing about this product, definitely buying another once this one?s been spent (which after about five years still sounds and looks fantastic).

Deep & punchy

Fantastic drum head for a punchy tone. Probably no need for extra muffling to achieve a great rock/pop/metal/funk sound out of a 20" kick. Aquarian heads are of the highest quality and will last a long time.

Cette peau est vraiment parfaite pour faire sonner n'importe quelle grosse caisse de manière idéale. Contrairement aux peaux Evans dont le muffle est peu esthétique et bruyant lorsqu?il est amovible, ici tout a été pensé de manière à garder une certaine longueur de note tout en éliminant les harmoniques aiguës et en centrant le son. Elle évite complètement l'effet "carton" des Pinstripe. L'inconvénient est qu'elle gomme un peu les caractéristiques propres du fût. Je la conseille plutôt pour des fûts épais et puissants et pour du rock que sur des fûts fin pour du funk ou du jazz.
