well worth the price

Purchased the Applause Elite AE44-4S from Thomann which i received very quickly, well packed and in good order. The guitar was very well set up but the strings for me were too heavy a gauge
[13—57] so i changed these to Elixer 10—47 which i prefer, so this meant slackening the truss rod,
Unfortunately the truss rod was already at it’s minimum so i will need to shave down the neck which is not a problem for me as i have been making,repairing and playing since 1955, yeah, i’m that old [93] BUT still lplaying, anyway back to the subject. Apart from that i find the guitar very good and well worth the money and am pleased with the sound both acoustically and electric.
Cheaper than Amazon where i first saw it bu as i have been dealing with Thomann in the past i have had excellent service from them, grovel, grovel

Gut für die tägliche Saitenfitness

Wer etwas Gutes fürs tägliche Üben sucht, ist mit diesem Modell sicher gut bedient. Einziges Manko: Um in den Korpus zu kommen, muss man den Deckel abschrauben. Und der ist innen so seltsam angebracht, dass sich bei meinem Modell gleich die Innenbefestigung des Deckels, auf der dieser aufliegt und die lediglich angeklebt ist, abgelöst hat. Wer mit solchen Schönheitsfehlern leben kann und wer sich um dieses Geld nicht die solideste Verarbeitung erwartet, wird aber sicher glücklich.
