Meh, you are pretty much paying for just the looks

All the housing is plastic and I was expecting at least a good feeling to the touch but no, they feel like just regular plastic and I'd say the finish on my plastic keyboards was better. The other complain I have about this is that there isn't a lock mechanism, sometimes when I'm moving my duet and the dock, the USB-C ports fall out and it sounds really scary if you are on monitors. Overall paying like 150 dollars just for a cleaner look than the breakout cables. Not worth but there's no other choice anyway.

Simple and effective!

This is well worth getting if you want to keep your desk tidy! What I really like is that I can have a permanent setup at my desk (that I don’t need to rewire or unplug), and just remove the Duet 3 at anytime, put it in its travel case with the breakout cable, and it’s good to go with minimum fuss. Highly recommend it!

Für meine Arbeit im Studio ist das Duet Dock unverzichtbar. Das Dock bringt das Duet 3 in einen idealen Winkel, um Einstellungen vorzunehmen und Anzeigen und Funktion abzulesen. Durch den rückseitigen Anschluss der Verbindungskabel (z.B. USB, Epilogue Micro) lässt sich alles leicht so arrangieren, dass auch die Ästhetik am Arbeitsplatz nicht zu kurz kommt. Die Kabel können hinter der Arbeitsplatte “versenkt“ werden. Das Duet Dock ist sehr wertig verarbeitet und betont die Form des Duet 3.
Ich nutze das Duet 3 mit Dock, um analoge Audioquellen (Vinyl, Kassette) zu digitalisieren, und bereue die zusätzlichen Kosten für das Dock nicht. Eine gelungene Kombination, die Apogee gerne auch im Bundle anbieten könnte. Vielleicht wäre dann das Dock etwas preisgünstiger.

Bastante útil si tienes un spot fijo para quitar el cable original que es aparatoso. El acabado no es feo pero podría tener mejores materiales de fabricación.
