Basic control for the ADJ pocket range

Well all I can say is ADJ should really include this with the equipment. I purchased to ADJ pocket scanners, which are excellent, by the way, however, had to purchase this for a Fiver, to make use of the IR control. Come on ADJ, you should at least include this with the lights!

bought it for ADJ H2O IR effect

purchased to control the ADJ H2O IR effect light for installation, as the IR dongle that comes with for smart phone / tablet is a bit hassle to use. Well it works, not the so reliable, you newer really know has button really worked until you see change, and orientation to effect light seams to be really important (narrow IR beam).
Pros - non really, except that it works and is cheep
Cons - confusing as it being universal remote for many different effect lights, you have to know what buttons apply to yours.

Easy for clients to use on simple jobs

Straightforward remote - not useful for anything complex, but useful for set and forget of simple setups, and ideal to leave with clients for a simple system when they just want to be able to make simple changes / turn things on and off themselves etc.
Used for a few low budget wedding setups and small private parties to give the client simplistic control of various effects.
