Very well made but no miracles

I put this tailpiece together with the ABM 2404 bridge in a 2014 Gibson Les Paul Studio.
Acoustically I feel the guitar sounding fuller and richer. Each string sounds clearer and sustain is very good too. Once amplified the overall tone is "clearer" and a little brighter but in a good way (not harsh at all).
By the way don't expect a night and day difference. Honestly I'm quite sure only the player will ever hear/feel the difference from the original parts.
The parts are both incredibly well made though.
In the end:
if you have to replace your original parts for any reason then go for it/them;
If you want to buy this bridge/tailpiece just to improve the guitar tone (and the original bridge is in good condition) then in my opinion save your money for something else.

Il mio scopo era migliorare il timbro della mia Les Paul utilizzando un prodotto fatto con dell'ottone di qualità superiore rispetto a quello originale.
Ho quindi voluto testare la qualità di questa azienda artigianale tedesca, di cui avevo sentito parlare positivamente.
Sono totalmente soddisfatto per il miglioramento ottenuto in termini di timbro e sustain. In seguito ho anche acquistato il ponte ABM Rollerbridge 2400c-RO C con estrema soddisfazione. Miglioramento dello strumento indiscutibile.

I replaced the stock Gibson Tailpiece and studs with the ABM.
The materials for the stock Gibson (Ping Works) are: Zinc Tailpiece, Brass Studs and Steel Bushings (I did not replaced those).

I did an A/B comparisson after recording the ABM (Tailpiece and Studs with stock Bushings) and the Gibson both with fresh strings.

The ABM parts gave a broader frequency spectrum. The guitar now sounds more "alive" as a result of the accenuated highs and lows. The tone with the Gibson parts in comparisson sounds tighter, more mid focused as the bass and treble frequencies don't stand out. Having a guitar with prominent high-mids the ABM balanced the tone very nice by extending the high frequencies while with the Gibson parts the high-mids were too much for me.
