Pro player here, 150+ gigs a year.
This is by far the best value for money on the planet. And i hate the term "for the money", the guitar was damn near perfect out of the box.
Action, finish, frets....everything was dead on.
Sounds amazing, it's very light, stays in tune, very comfortable to play.
There is only one "negative" side and that's the bloated electronics. The 5 way switch is not necessary ( 2 and 4 positions are useless ) and the "focus" knob does the exact opposite, just kills a lot of highs.
A standard 3way would be enough cause the pickups are that good.
All in all I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a new guitar before.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von der Yamaha Revstar RSS02T in Sonic Blue.

Sie lässt sich extrem angenehm spielen, klingt hervorragend und bietet eine riesige Vielfalt an Sounds. Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat, ist die Verarbeitung: Die Finish-Qualität ist absolut makellos – ehrlich gesagt ein spürbares Stück besser als bei meiner anderen Gitarre (einer Fender), obwohl diese 100 € mehr gekostet hat. Yamaha liefert hier in Sachen Preis-Leistung wirklich auf höchstem Niveau ab.

Und als kleiner Bonus: Das Sonic Blue passt fantastisch zu meiner Küche! :D

Einfach gesagt: Das ist eine fantastische Gitarre. In dieser Preisklasse ist Yamaha unschlagbar. Sie ist günstiger als die Fender Player II-Serie, die ich für ausgezeichnet halte, und übertrifft jede Player I sowie jede Epiphone, Gretsch, Jackson und Charvel, die ich im Preisbereich .
Und obwohl mir die Farbe „Merlot“ bei der RSS20T gefallen hat, würde ich mich bei der RSS20 für die blaue Variante entscheiden. Ich werde nie verstehen, warum so viele Gitarrenläden, die Yamaha eigentlich im Sortiment haben, diese Marke komplett vergessen, wenn der Käufer nach einer hammermäßigen E-Gitarre sucht – und meiner Meinung nach ist diese Revstar.
