Going back unfortunately
I really wanted to like this one, but it just didn’t do it for me. And weirdly enough, this is the 4th Wampler overdrive that I let go. So, it’s an OCD, but is it really? It has way more mids, not enough treble definition, and in general, I just can’t replicate my OCD v1.7 HP sound. Maybe others will make this one sing, apparently I can’t. Also the foot switch, despite being soft and silent, has something really not organic about the way it engages and disengages. Hopefully others will have a better experience with it.

As it claims - OCD with TMB
I just wanted to have OCD (great legendary distrotrion pedal) with more control over EQ, especially lows. And having full treble, middle and bass under your fingertips, gives lots of possibilities. That's exactly what Brian Wampler says about this pedal. OCD is meant for rock, it's quite high gain, but still organic and retains overall amp sound quite well. On original OCD there are plenty of mids to cut through the mix, but with Wampler you can go beyond (and under).
