I had to gulp at the price when I ordered this as I'd been quite happy with Van Damme XKE quad cable up till now. However, my recent acquisition - a Brauner Phantom AE - was supplied with a shorter length of Vovox, so I thought I'd try out a longer run of the shielded version.
It's good! It really allows the Brauner to perform at its best. Exceptional clarity, the blackest silences and a sound that barely needs any further work. I'm using it with a Universal Audio Apollo interface and I suspect you'd need something at that level or above to justify the expense.
So, despite the cost, I'm impressed.

UPDATE
Several weeks have passed and I’ve completed various jobs using the cable. I remain very impressed by the Brauner/ Vovox combination. Outstanding.
