Vandoren Optimum Soprano Sax SL3

I bought this mouthpiece after playing a Vandoren Optimum AL3 on my alto sax for a very long time and being very impressed with it. It is extremely responsive with an excellent sound quality throughout the whole register of the instrument, even allowing for some altissimo which is extremely difficult on the soprano. It goes very nicely with a Vandoren optimum ligature and either V12 or Classic Blue 3/3.5, which altogether make an excellent set up on which to base your playing. Tip opening of 114 allows for a relatively loose embouchure which in my opinion is better for achieving a wider variety of colours and sounds. I recommend this for any intermediate to advanced soprano sax player.
