A good american design mouthpiece. the original ligature cracks the mouthpiece's finish. high notes are too bright for me

I use this mouthpiece + ligature from meyer connoisseur. It gives a beautiful sound. Number 7 is suitable for beautiful music. For the old sound, I have the number 5 connoisseur mayer.
