An old cat...

Works well against wind but the quality of the hair is such that I got a lot of loose hair in my bag. It's like an old cat! I did not expect this from an original accessory.

Good quality - Not great usability

It's a good windscreen, it does the job that is intended for. However, on my Tascam DR40X, it's so big that it covers the entire screen (and of course the headphone output), which doesn't make it really usable. That doesn't really work if you need to hear what your recording or if you want to check the levels of your recording (or any other information on the screen). For this specific recorder, I actually prefer the rycote windscreen intended for Zoom H6 because it's smaller and you can use it perfectly with headphones on. However, if these are not a problem with your recorder, it's a good quality product.

Pas adapté pour la configuration AB !

La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous, la bonnette atténue le vent comme prévu mais gros point négatif, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué par le fabricant, elle n’est pas utilisable en position AB. En effet, dans cette position les capsules touchent la bonnette et produisent divers sons de frottements et craquements. De plus le vent devient audible car la bonnette est presque plaqué sur le micro. C’est presque utilisable en statique mais absolument pas en mouvement. Ne pensez même pas à vous balader avec.

En configuration XY moins de problème mais la bonnette reste très souple et peut avoir tendance à bouger si on s’en sert en se déplaçant. Je vais me tourner vers Bubblebee pour le AB.
