This is a great addition to my Meccano set of a hardware rig. With the addition of a Tama fastclamp and boom arm, i can securely hang an eight inch Tom and a 15” crash off my cymbal stand (in addition to the 10” and 12” toms already hanging off the stand) I’m pretty sure this holder would have no problem with a much larger Tom than the 8” one I’m using it for.

Given that I also got myself a memory clamp (available separately, obviously) along with this tom holder, fastclamp and the cymbal boom, this was far from a cheap option, but setup and tear-down is reasonably quick (quicker than the lightning, at least) so I’m happy

Nice solid stand

Very good stand for the price. I use it with a 13" tama tom and the stability is great. I have used it on my BD, and now on the rack and either way stability has been perfect.

Would definitely suggest it :)

Prima, um Tom- und Beckenarm an einer Rackklammer anzubringen

In das Loch oben passt noch ein weiteres Rohr mit 19mm, wie z.B. ein weiterer Tom- oder Beckenarm. So kann man sich am Rack eine Klammer einsparen. Preislich macht das nicht sehr viel aus (sofern man auf günstigere Racksysteme, wie z.B. Dixon oder Gibraltar zurückgreift), jedoch wird eine Rackstange dann je nach Ausrüstung nicht gleich völlig vollgebaut und das Ganze sieht ein wenig aufgeräumter aus. Erforderliche Memoryclamps sind wie in der Abbildung dabei.
Einziges kleines "Manko": Da dieser Arm eigentlich für die Bass Drum ausgelegt ist, ist der Arm recht lang für einen am Rack. Die kürzere Version (MTH900BS) kostet jedoch über 100¤. Wen die Länge also stört, sollte ihn manuell kürzen (lassen).
