già possessore del precedente speedcobra devo dire che questo è stato notevolmente migliorato!!

For a long time I wondered if Tama Speedcobra is the foot pedal that I want? 12 years I've used DW 5000 (early model about- 20 years old), I used a newer model DW 5000 but it was too heavy, difficult to set up, so I preferred the older version.Fortunately, there is Tama Speedcobra. Very fast, very light, very versatile, all I've to do was loosen the spring and was ready for use. And the price for the quality. Perfect

Amazing pedal

I bought this pedal with a lot of hesitation. Longboards is something new to me. I was used to the Iron Cobra and I was scared to change, but I went with my gut feelings and I didn't regret it.
The pedal is amazing ! First impression is how solid and robust the whole thing is. You know it's going to last and it's not going to slide off the bass drum. Then you have the little settings everywhere that makes the pedal YOUR pedal. You can change the height of the pedal board, the beater angle, the tension, the head of the beater angle... all that in one handy hard case that will protect your investment.
Playing is buttery smooth, very precise and no (or less) bum notes. I find the precision of the hits way easier to handle. I like the impact of the beater, I like that I can use the whole length of the board to play the way I want and I don't feel half pressure on my leg. I don't have to force a hit. it's natural, like the pedal and my foot are one. It's an amazing feeling and for anyone willing to upgrade but are unsure, THIS is the pedal you need. You can't go wrong with a TAMA pedal especially this speed cobra. + Thomann delivered it in less than a week (thx guys!!)
110% recommend. A must have. Enjoy.

Very good but not as tough as the old ones.

The footboard already has a little give to it...I bet in a few months will be worse. I have an IRON COBRA with 18 years of heavy playing on it and has the same footboard give as this new speed cobra.
They took weight from it to make it lighter but honestly, doesn't feel lighter... and I play pretty fast!
