It's a small, yet heavyweight alternative bass drum mic holder. You could install Kelly Shu, but instead you can get a proper metal holder at lower price than competitors plastic version. You need to use two screws from lug in order to put it in the position. Ensure you have enough long screws for holder plate - thicker than typical washer (especially when you install it inside vintage drum, such as Gretsch). It holds steady in the installed position, but you have to strongly tighten it's bolts. It is little tricky and unhandy to do, especially when holder is already mounted inside bass drum. Holder saves space and need to take additional mount. Very handy solution for gigging drummer.

This mounting bracket allows you to get any mike in a good position. A great product if your kick drum comes with no hole in the front head and you want to keep your mike inside the drum. Additionally, you will need a cable/XLR jack assembly that mounts in the air vent hole, yet still allows air to pass through.

I think it is a bit expensive. And it has a solid fixation to a shell, so I think SHU Kelly system, which has a not so solid rubber fixation is better not to have a vibration to the mic. But for concerts it is perfect!

GOOD PRODUCT, HOWEVER THE ARM DOES MOVE TOO MUCH WHEN YOU HAVE A DECENT QUALITY MIC ON THE END OF THE ARM DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE MIC. OTHER THAN THAT PRETTY GOOD.
