and that is it. Slightly more flex in the joints than the all steel one... but who cares about that. If you need a good capo, the shubb's are the place to go.

A Sleek and Reliable Capo

The black chrome finish gives it a sleek look that's right at home on any guitar neck. What sold me, though, was the feel of it. smooth and natural, and the rubber padding ensures a snug fit without any annoying buzzing or fretting issues. And let me tell you, this thing is durable. I've put it through its paces, and it's held up like a champ.
The Shubb C2 Black gets the job done every time. If you're in the market for a reliable capo that looks as good as it performs, look no further.

I had a Shubb for many years before, they are sturdy and I like that I kn keep it clamped on the headstock when not in use.
The black finish adds to the discrete profile.
The only caveat is that although it fits most neck shapes if yours is a bit on the thin/flat side (I mean the back of the guitar neck) you'll find that you have to move back the rubber and the tip of the capo would stick out a bit.
So, a little tweak needed to accommodate particular shaped necks but it is a good piece of gear for the price as it will last a lifetime, if anything, replacing the rubber is also possible.
