Shadow SH712

i pick up con la "pastina" sono una mia fissazione. da quando ho scoperto che thomann vende il barattolino col ricambio ho rimesso in funzione il mio vecchio schertler vecchio di vent'anni che suona benissimo. ed ora questo shadow 712 che fa egregiamente il suo lavoro ma è un prodotto riuscito a metà. a differenza dello schertler il cui cavo è assolutamente muto, qui i due cavi trasmettono gran parte del segnale e posizionando i pickups nel punto scelto bisogna fare attenzione a non sfiorarli perché il risultato sarà uno scoppio nell'impianto. questo è un enorme problema dato che il 712 è stato ingegnerato come sistema esterno. se fosse stato pensato come soluzione interna la femmina jack avrebbe dovuto essere diversa, in metallo filettato..

I have 3 of these installed on my Gypsy Jazz guitars. I needed something simple that required no guitar mod and would help me amplify my guitars without too much hassle/processing.

These I use only for amplification, the sound is NOT quacky (very important), the pickups take the sound from the body, close to the bridge at both edges.

Depending on your guitar you need to install the piezos in different locations to get the best from the instrument.

These are passive and send very little signal. You'll need a Pre amp. I've got a Harley Benton Pre amp and I'm golden.
