A very handy accessory. Allows you to use plug-in power mics such as the Rose Videomic NTG or various lav mics, straight into the phantom-powered XLR inputs of pro field mixers, recorders (I got it for use with the Sound Devices Mix-Pre series) or ENG camcorders that have XLR inputs but no 3.5mm inputs. Feels very well made. Just something to have in your toolbox 'in case'.

There's no reason not to have a few of these if you're using lav mics. Gives you a solid connection using xlr cables and you don't need to worry about batteries or inference. Even if you need to use a wireless setup this is still great as a backup!

Assurément de la qualité permettant de créer une entrée TRS sur un port phantom XLR, Rode fait plutôt fort comme la plupart de leurs produits.

Un seul détail qui ne remet pas en cause le produit, l’accessoire pince pour l’accrocher à une ceinture est en plastique merdique, trop souple, qui va casser prématurément très rapidement à l’usage, dommage car cet accessoire de fixation est indispensable dans certains usages avec des Lavalliers, le plastique bas de gamme en flexion dure rarement bien longtemps, zoom l’a bien compris en passant à des pinces métalliques plus fiables et surtout plus durables. Le prix du produit aurait mérité un accessoire plus fiable dans le temps et surtout plus robuste a l’usage de terrain.
