RME HDSPe Madi FX

I cannot believe this was released back in 2012. It is still the best high I/O card on the market. MADI still rules in 2020 as far as high track count is concerned and I am going to install at least one more of these into my system for hooking up my many analogue and digital I/O.

Driver support is brilliant although RME should change their stance and start releasing Linux drivers! Nobody is asking for them to be open source - if you need the features of the card then you will be prepared to accept closed source drivers.

I've had many requests to record live shows. With RME it's possible. I've used it with Soundcraft VI6 and DiGiCo SD8. So, recording multichannel live show from the desk is not even an issue. It works just fine, I've never had any digital errors or word clock errors and sound quality is awesome
