PRS Archon Classic 50 Head

Je voulais un ampli de 50w avec deux canaux, dont un clean pouvant cruncher. Et bien il est parfait pour ça, les master volume étant bien efficaces. On peut avoir un clean tres propre tout comme un crunch délicieux (et qui prend bien les pedales). Ensuite le canal lead prend naturellement le relais du crunch jusqu'a une distortion costaude qui peut aller au metal avec un bon boost. Par contre il y a en effet un bruit de claquement quand on eteint l'ampli (pas de standby) qui peut surprendre. C'est apparement normal. Aussi le bout de bois en façade où repose le logo ne tient pas bien. Mais pour ce prix là c'est un super ampli, a voir dans le temps.

This amp is the perfect amp. Its cleans are so super clean, and has the known breakup tones aswell. One thing I was worried about before buying this amp, was if it was able to play super clean sound without breakup. And it really do. It reminds me of Fender cleans, because they are so defined and clear.

Its lead channel is amazing aswell, as it can give amazing rock tones aswell as heavy distortion metal tones.
People complain about a big pop when you turn it off, but honestly it is not that loud. And most important: it does not harm neither your amp or speakercab.
And at last it super silent. It is a tubeamp so it will always a little hum from it but the most silent tubeamp i,ve played. So therefore: it’s the best amp I’ve ever played!
