PMC 6

These monitors changed my entire mixing and production workflow for the better. They have the highest definition i have ever heard, at low and high levels equally, from up close and from afar.

When i received them, I first tweaked the parameters a bit to adapt them to my room, their placement and my position. The onboard filters really worked out for my ears.
They took a few days of listening to really glow, at the beginning the sound was a little dry and 'sculpted' somehow, artificial, but that quickly got rounded off into a beauty of a sound.

I can now hear every harmonic of every sound distinctly, and when something is too much or not enough, they will tell, nothing slips away.
The stereo field is incredibly detailed, even when moving around a bit in the room.
I can also hear every part of every transient in the tracks i mix like never before.
The global dynamics for music and film feel like zooming in a thousand times into an image, and still having the same definition. Placing instruments and sounds in a mix has never been easier, and you can really feel that when switching to lower end monitors or headphones. Everything is now in its right place, where it was previously a blur.

Overall i dont think i will ever need another pair of monitors, it's pretty much like seeing the spectrum, stereo field and dynamics of your sound with your ears.
Really feels like i was blind, and now i can see.

I might add the subs someday though :)
