Just a great solid state amp

After a couple of months of usage I can say this is a great amp indeed, perfect for home use thanks to it's master volume, but can easily keep up with a drummer thanks to its 12'' speaker and 60W of power. Amazing sound without the hassle of valves, completely analogue (except for the reverb, but all 3 modes sound pretty good anyway), low maintenance, and it looks amazing. I'm very grateful for the effects loop as well. If I had one wish it would be an aux input or maybe a headphone out, but it's just not that kind of amp. It does what it says on the box very well and if you're the kind of person that feels the cons of valves far outweigh the possibly but not necessarily better sound, I'd recommend you take a look at the Crush.

Great amp!

I've been a big fan of solid state amps after suffering from valve problems on numerous occasions. I've had Roland Blues Cubes, Tech 21 Trademarks, Bluetone Pro30Ms and many more. I have to say that this Orange is the best I've tried.

The clean channel is wonderful, and with the volume cranked gets into a really juicy touch sensitive overdrive that is perfect for the Kossoff kind of clean/crunch. This is how I run it, but backing off the volume opens up a world of great clean tones.

The overdrive channel goes from subtle to ridiculous. I don't use lots of gain so can't really comment on those, but the low to mid gain tones (up to about 12oclock with the gain) are amazing. They continue from where the clean channel ends and go from there. The touch sensitivity is the best of any solid state amp I've used.

At both home and band levels this amp really is perfect for me. If you are considering one of these I strongly recommend getting one.

Voilà 3 ans que je possède cet ampli et franchement c'est de la bombe !
Un des meilleurs transistors à ce qu'il parait !
En tout cas j'ai eu emmené cet ampli et j'ai jamais eu de soucis , il est je pense plutôt solide !
De plus on a un son assez typique de la marque orange avec un ampli qui accepte bien le haut gain et en même temps un channel clean qui est vraiment "clean" c'est le cas de le dire ahah avec un son vraiment convainquant.
Je pense que ce qui est aussi intéressant sur ce genre d'ampli c'est qu'il est vraiment polyvalent je peux vraiment tout jouer et en même temps on est pas non plus dépourvu de caractère !
Aucun soucis du côté de chez thomann aussi avec une bonne livraison et emballage ce qui est franchement souhaitable pour ce genre de produit et ça c'est cool !

Kleiner Brüllwürfel für jeden Zweck

Ich wollte endlich mal wieder einen Transistorverstärker für jeden Zweck. Für Zuhause, Probe, kleine Gigs und Jam Sessions. Ich hatte keine Lust mehr immer den den schweren Röhrencombo rumzuschleppen. Mit knapp 20 Kilo und der moderaten Größe ist er gut zu transportieren.

Klanglich ist der Kle8ne schon mächtig laut. Die Abstimmung der Sounds ist denkbar einfach. Da ich für die Verzerrung und für das Delay externe Pedalen verwende, eignet sich der Cleankanal bestens. Der eingebaute Reverb ist durchaus brauchbar.

Resümierend bleibt festzustellen, dass es zwar kein Röhrenverstärker ist, aber doch schon sehr nah dran kommt. Mit den oben genannten Vorzügen hinsichtlich Gewicht und Größe, eine klasse Alternative.
