- Generates a room-adaptive target curve with detection of room modes and automatic filter optimisation
- Compensation of level and delay differences
- Corrects spatial inadequacies of e.g. stereo control rooms for use in multi-channel playback
- Helps to avoid changes in the sound character when panning sources and the associated misinterpretation of sound changes as directional information
