The tone of this recorder is beautiful throughout its range. The two extra keys are invaluable to me as I have small hands and would be unable to play a tenor recorder without them. The recorder is new and at present I have only played the recorder for short time spans following the recommendations from Mollenhauer. It is made from rosewood and has a lovely grain running through it. I would highly recommend this recorder to any enthusiast.
