A good quality Alto Renaissance style recorder

I was looking for a good quality wooden Renaissance style recorder, for use in a Renaissance band. I am pleased with my purchase. It looks the part, and plays reasonably well. As with other lower register recorders, it does require some breath control on the lowest note. It is louder than some other recorders I have tried, but maintains a good quality tone. It was despatched the day I ordered it, and it was delivered to my home in England 3 days later.

Verglichen mit der Sopran-Kynseker (4107) und der Alt-G-Kynseker (4207) hat die in F noch mehr vom Barock-Standard abweichende Griffe: das tiefe es braucht 013467, das hohe cis 0- 1246-. Diese Angaben der Mollenhauer Grifftabelle kommen gut hin.
Vom Klang her finde ich sie etwas enttäuschend, im Vergleich besonders zur 4207-G, die herausragend kräftig und farbreich ist, auch mit schönen Obertönen. In F dagegen etwas matter. Sie spricht sehr gut an, mir gelingt in der Höhe das 3. a mühelos (die noch höheren Töne habe ich nicht drauf). Dass das hohe fis ohne Oberschenkel mit 0-12-345-67 gut anspricht, ist sehr angenehm!
In Ahorn klingt sie für meinen Geschmack aber besser als in Pflaume, die ich zuerst probiert und retourniert habe, weil sie auf mich noch matter wirkte.
