Plug and play
In to out, out to in, USB-C to computing device (I used an Android phone). Blue light means powered on, green light on commands sent — keys, pedals etc. If they both light up without pressing keys, swap in/out or even leave one end unplugged.
That's all that is needed to start, just not printed on the leaflet. Cable is powered by the device, but does not seem to drain battery despite illumination and processing. Support for MIDI in browsers is a hit-and-miss, though a specialized app works well, and I've also learned that my digital piano can produce sound when controlled from the phone. Nice!
