Midas Microphone Preamplifier 502 V2

i bought this preamp twice because the first time was faulty and (spoiler alert) even the second time. The first time there was a constant loud noise during the recordings i did. Pressing the tx button the preamp was overloaded and stopped working entirely. The second time there was no noise during the recording phase, it seemed to work fine but then again pressing the tx button the preamp made loud noises and stopped working. Unlucky me? Overall quality of the object is not anything fancy, it feels plasticky and i would say...cheap, the sound when i could hear it working was decent but nothing better then the internal preamp of a audio interface on the market (like focusrite, apollo, arturia audiofuse studio) . Midas sound is clean and very sensitive to reflections on the walls if the room is not properly treated. I will buy another neve

Questo Pre Midas ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche se è uno dei più economici che troverai sul mercato, ti garantisce una resa incredibile in termini di guadagno e brillantezza. Il suono è potente e dettagliato sopratutto sulle alte frequenze, non particolarmente caldo, e occhio alla stanza dove registri perchè la sua sensibilità ti farà sentire tutte le risonanze! Detto questo ha una flessibilità in termini di guadagno impressionante, ti permetterà di registrare senza problemi le sorgenti più basse e quelle più alte. I due filtri passa alto e passa basso lo rendono particolarmente adatto alla registrazione degli strumenti, in particolare lo consiglio sul rullante magari con un SM57 o un 414
