Midas M 32

That's NOT another Behringer.
Having both digital mixing consoles under daily use we can say that these two mixers have too much in common while many improvements appear on MIDAS M32.
Except the new impressive design and overall touch the M32 has a lot to prove in improvement the synergy effects which have taken place. Significant improvements have taken place on the pre amps , ADCs and DACs.
As a rental company we choose to buy both mixing desks in order to have one for daily use and rental to clubs, small bands or performers and the other one for more professional occasions where a premium class mixer is need.
Something to point out, which is really helpful for rental companies, is that you can combine components for both mixers if needed without spending any more money buying all additional stuff they provide.
Excellent choice and always have in mind that Midas is still the Midas we all know !

As a class at a price which is probably the best mixer available! I've been working on this for a few months and I enjoy it. The pre-amps are sounding very clear and clean (not like a tingling in Yamaha LS9). M32 has pro-series faders witch is very good and quick moving. DCA groups which is very convenient. Especially I like effects. They are many and very good sounding, in mixing that make it very easy and quick. If you still have any doubt in the remote control, be sure and buy this consol. Obviously, such a price for a better console matches are not possible to find.

MIDAS, Good job!

I have an XL200 too (the original live full size desk that made the concert industry).
The M32 has all the facilities, all the outboard, the same touch and is great. The added features(the recorder, RTA, digital snake using AES50, the USB 32 ch I/O) make this desk completely unbeatable. The routing features are fantastic, in fact I have yet to find anything I don't like. I have a PA business and this is getting proper use, and I am just setting about two installation jobs with the smaller M32R rather than a cheaper analogue mixer because it give the Rolls-Royce performance on which I depend.
