bought a set of gold Warwick hardware to replace the stock one.

everything went okay, except of the 1-gang knobs:

1. inconsistent quality, one of two didn't just fit the push-pull volume pot
2. color doesn't match any other gold hardware: Warwick bridge, Warwick 2-gang knob, Schaller locks. it's just another color and significantly.

probably will replace those with Schallers or whatever

Smart, high quality hardware!

I bought 4 of these to replace some black knobs that were on a used Warwick bass I bought. The rest of the hardware on the bass was gold, so the knobs had been replaced at some point. I wanted to restore the bass back to it's proper looks. These knobs are solidly made, well finished and the gold coating looks quality.

Feels and looks great

Unlike most of the knobs I've tried, this are heavy (this is a good thing for me), nice looking and feels great under my fingertips. The mirror finish is unbelievable! The only downside is the color that doesn't really match with most of the gold hardware you could have on your instruments, with their light color.

It just had to be these...

Having owned, and still own, a number of Warwicks, I felt it was time to custom tweak my SS1.
And for what Thomann sell them for, it's a steal...that adds a little extra sustain, or is it just my ears?
I purchased for the look, and gained an imagined minor audio tweak as well, result! ;-)

I like the fact this knob can be locked in place. Some knobs become lose (either because of the knob itself or the pot has deformed) and the fact you can lock this in place is a great idea! Also it has a little mark on the top of the knob which allow me to see how much gain I've put on the pot.

good quality for price paid,no complaints.......i like the position marker on top....it gives you an idea how much volume it is switched to!----where as other makes don't have this!.....thanks...........
